[Update: 2/20/22] The map problem is too much of a problem. I spend every other day, clearing the map, and cleaning the machine, in an attempt to get it to run a complete cycle around the 2 rooms. It keeps overlaying the map with another one, then getting stuck because it thinks it’s base is outside in my yard. I am incredibly upset that I spent my money on this when I could have got something that works.[Update: 10/15/21] 2 Months later – The map issue is a huge problem. I am now using physical barriers for all the places this little robot gets stuck i.e. just under the front of my refrigerator, under the cabinets in 4 locations and when the map is messed up the vacuum cannot find the charging station. Even when it is right beside it. I have cleaned the machine and we stopped manually operating it hoping that this would stop the map overlapping but it has not. Worth $200 in my opinion as it still cleans up all the debris but it almost has to be supervised to get the full area done.I purchased the Tesvor 6+ robot vacuum and this is my first robot vacuum. We have a chocolate lab that sheds like a lab. Little puppy sized hairballs float across our hardwood floors. Not anymore. I have this run in our main area of the house 2x a day. Once at noon and again at 4am. These are easier when there’s an angle than a restricted box.Gets stuck because of the map problems.I like this vacuum and it’s doing a great job. I would recommend that on the first run you block off the areas where it might get stuck like under the kitchen cabinets or the stairs where it could fall. It will create the map and then you can block off the areas on it accordingly using the map in the app. After that, the robot should run without issue.If this review is helpful, please mark it as so. This robot vacuum is perfect. This does the job of the more expensive vacuum’s for a fraction of the price. I spent hours finding the right one and I am confident it is this one. It is intelligent in the fact that it goes around objects it doesn’t just bump into something and change direction. It doesn’t do a triangle pattern which is what I’m looking for. It finds the perimeter and works its way in around obstacles and in open areas grids which I find very efficient. I never have to wonder if it kissed a spot because the app shows me where it has completed its clean. Very easy to set up. You can also set it up to google home. comes with a remote so you can manually control the unit if you need to focus on a specific area, or mess with your cat. Hit the clean button afterwards and it starts smart cleaning again. The tesvor has a feature in the well designed app that it picks up where it left off in the cleaning process if it for some reason runs out of battery, which I have yet to have happen. The battery life on this vacuum is pretty impressive. There are 3 suction modes. One for quiet if you are watching tv which it still picks up very well. Normal and then heavy duty. The LiDAR system is actually very impressive to see in action. It maps your house in real time and you can watch it find obstacles quickly. Overall if you have made it this far in the review you will not regret giving this vacuum a try.
For the price, the vac has great suction and it’s quiet enough that my cat isn’t afraid. The remote is a nice addition even though I mainly use the app. I use the remote to do spot cleanups. Otherwise, I just let the robot do it’s own thing. Love that I can use Alexa to start the robot. Also, like that I can set no-go zones in the app. Very happy with how much pet hair and dirt it gets up as well.To be honest, it’s not the brightest robot vac. Sometimes, the robot runs flawlessly, and others it gets stuck. It might run into things it shouldn’t, miss dirt, and/or get disoriented and lost (in a one bedroom apartment). The latter is funny but frustrating to watch, as it aimlessly wanders looking for the docking station. Even with these negatives, I’d still buy this vac again.The vac won’t clean as good as you, but it will do it more often and give back to your day.
I recently purchased a Tesvor Robotic Vacuum/Mop, I absolutely love this technology. While I’m submitting this review my Tesvor is mopping my 1100 sq ft. downstairs. The vacuum works great, the mop works great, setting up the Wi-Fi connection was a bit challenging, had to call in the assistance of my daughter to set up the 2.4 ghz Wi-Fi because we have dual band, other than that she quickly connected it to my Echo as well. This comes with a remote, or I can manage it from the app on my phone, or manually. I wasn’t a fan of this technology, but after babysitting my granddaughter for a weekend at my daughters house and using her robot, I thought, well this is kind of cool, so I purchased one and I’m so glad I did. I would recommend you purchase one if you have hardwood or engineered laminate/vinyl floors, it works great and frees up more of my time to jump in the swim spa.06/0121 My daughter purchased a Coredy R300 for me for Mothers Day, it doesn’t hold a candle to the Tesvor. I would say the Coredy R300 is not smart, it has trouble finding it’s home station, it gets stuck often and doesn’t know what to do so it repeats over and over the pattern where it is stuck. I have to put a baby gate up so it doesn’t fall down my stairs when vacuuming up stairs. It just doesn’t pick up debris like my Tesvor does. I’m so glad I purchased the Tesvor.
I live this vacuum! Everybody buys the most popular brands because that’s what they see advertised and i’m so glad i did my research because this has everything all the more popular models have put together and cheaper. this vacuum maps your entire home and you can set areas you don’t want it to go to. It can detect if it’s near the stairs. you can schedule it. this vacuum even turns into a mop with just the box change. it has an app where you can set things and also comes with an remote. the vacuum has three different suction levels and is quite. it’s easy to clean. the only thing i think can be improved is the software and its updates because each time it updates i need to remap. i also wish eventually you can map and not be restricted to a square that you can’t rotate on your map.
