We bought this on a whim -figured I’d take a chance for $30. we have the tesvor vacuum (nicknamed Tessie the Teslabot because… why not?) I hate cleaning the floors almost as much as my wife does, that’s why we got the stupid robot in the first place… so why not add a mop to the fun?I wasn’t too hopeful after reading about smearing and the like. We have cheap travertine tiles that seem to convert every bit of dampness into a dirty smudge. We ran the vacuum first – it uses about 40% of the charge before returning to the charge station. I let it recharge for about an hour, just in case.I filled the mop tank with some no rinse floor cleaner, diluted it to the “dirty floor” level of solution, picked up the rugs, blocked the doors and let ‘er rip. What a pleasant surprise! It recognized the tank and announced “mopping mode” – it then proceeded to do the up and back dance we all know so well thru the house (probably ran it on about 800 sq ft of floors). Then it did the edge clean twice around. It has a little dust bin next to the water tank, and the sweepers still scooped up some dust bunnies while in mopping mode.Wifey was very happy with the results (especially since she didn’t even have to mess with filling the tank!) The mop pad was nice and dirty, the floor was nice and clean. It did a good job of spreading the solution completely behind the robot as it moved around, not streaky at all.I’m sure if I just ran the mop tank with out running the vacuum mode first I would get some smearing of dirt, but that seemed like an obvious first step…I give it the lazy man’s seal of approval!

This is definitely another level up from just vacuuming and it does quite well.Only reason I gave it 4 stars – it is a slow drip system, meaning it can’t charge with water in the tank because it will get everything around it wet. So I end up babysitting this a bit more than the vacuum.I still really like it 🙂

Does the job nicely. No complaints. But this attachment is too expensive for $40. Would buy one more if around $20 -$25
